Consumer and Helper Apps Projects I worked on as a UX researcher & designer

1. Retail Research: Retail in the wild
Problem: Dolly doesn’t have a firm understanding of our retail users and their interactions with our consumer app.
Goal: Interview some customers that have used our app for a retail delivery to understand more and unlock insights.

2. Helper Research: Helper Adjustment Menu
Problem: Customers were often asking for additional work to be done on the day of the delivery
Goal: Give the Helpers autonomy and allow them to add these items in the “Helper adjustment Menu” in their apps.

3. Helper Research: Request a Helper Feature
Problem: Helpers (Drivers) with a vehicle need help to match with hands (without a vehicle) to help them with deliveries so that they can work as a team.
Goal: Design a way for the Helper to add someone to their preferred list after and work with them again on future jobs.

4. Consumer research: Flat Rate Apartment Moves
Problem: Customers need to add all their items for full apartment moves, often they do not have these packed and this can be time consuming to add each individual item – leading to Helpers arriving and the job being not as expected and the jobs not being priced correctly.
Goal: Design a “flat rate” experience where the customer can pay a flat fee for a full apartment move depending on the size of their apartment.
